- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, inspection rules, inspection methods, marks, packaging and storage of marine explosion-proof lamps. This standard applies to flameproof and increased safety explosion-proof lamps installed in spaces where explosive gas mixtures may be generated or accumulated, with a rated voltage below 250V, and with incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps, gas discharge lamps (high-pressure mercury lamps) as light sources ( Hereinafter referred to as explosion-proof lamps) design, production and acceptance.
