Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the thermal electromotive force of platinum-rhodium thermocouple wire by the fuse method and the comparison method. This standard is applicable to the measurement of platinum-rhodium thermocouple filaments with a diameter ranging from 0.05mm to 0.1mm. The thermal electromotive force measurement of other noble metal and base metal thermocouple filaments can also be referred to.
