- This standard specifies the types, models, specifications, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, signs and packaging of metal wire woven mesh for industrial use. This standard is applicable to metal wire positively woven dense mesh for gas, liquid filtration and other media separation. This standard applies to metal wires with a nominal aperture ranging from 0.003mm to 0.347mm in the forward weave dense mesh (hereinafter referred to as dense mesh).
