This standard specifies the determination methods for potassium and sodium in industrial circulating cooling water and boiler water. The atomic absorption spectrometry in this standard is applicable to the determination of potassium content 0.3mg/L~50mg/L and sodium content 5mg/L~500mg/L, and the static method is applicable to the determination of sodium content greater than 0.23mg/L. This standard is also applicable to the determination of sodium and potassium in various industrial water, boiler water, raw water and domestic water.
