Scope

This standard specifies the determination methods of total iron and total soluble iron (II) in boiler water, cooling water, raw water and industrial wastewater. This standard is applicable to the determination of the mass concentration of iron in the range of 0.01mg/L to 5mg/L. When the iron mass concentration is higher than 5mg/L, the sample can be properly diluted before measurement.
