Scope

This standard specifies the quality characteristics of drive pulleys, the surface roughness and quality level of balance of drive pulleys and test pulleys. This standard applies to V-belt pulleys, ribbed pulleys, flat pulleys, and synchronous pulleys, but not to variable-speed pulleys with movable rims.
