This standard is applicable to the determination of the hardness of natural water, cooling water, demineralized water, H-type cation exchanger effluent, and boiler feed water samples. When chrome black T is used as the indicator, the hardness measurement range is 0.1mmol/L~5mmol/L. When the hardness exceeds 5mmol/L, the sampling volume can be appropriately reduced and diluted to 100ml for measurement. When acid chrome blue K is used as the indicator , the hardness measurement range is 1μmol/L~100μmol/L.
