Scope: This part of GB 5959 applies to equipment for industrial heating of materials using microwave energy alone or together with other forms of energy. This section applies to industrial microwave heating equipment with a working frequency of 300 MHz to 300 GHz. This section does not apply to household and similar appliances (they are covered by GB 4706.21 and IEC 60335-2-90).
