- Scope
- This standard specifies the use of gas chromatography (external standard method) to determine the purity of petroleum paraxylene and the content of hydrocarbon impurities. This standard is applicable to the determination of paraxylene with a purity of not less than 99% (mass fraction), as well as C~C non-aromatic hydrocarbons, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene, etc. with a concentration range of 0.001%~1.000% (mass fraction). C~C aromatics and other hydrocarbon impurities. This standard is not intended to address safety issues related to its use. Users are responsible for taking appropriate safety and health measures and ensuring compliance with relevant national regulations.
