This standard specifies a method for the photometric determination of lead content in rubber using the dithizone photometric method. This standard is applicable to the determination of raw rubber, mixed rubber and vulcanized rubber with a lead content of no more than 1000mg/kg. Samples with a lead content of more than 1000mg/kg can also be measured by adjusting the sample mass or test solution concentration.
