Scope
This standard specifies a method for the determination of monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, bicyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, tricyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in diesel fuel and petroleum fractions with a distillation range of 150°C to 400°C using high performance liquid chromatography. The total aromatic hydrocarbon content is calculated by adding the contents of various aromatic hydrocarbons. The precision of this standard is based on the assumption that the content of monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons is 4% (mass fraction) ~ 40% (mass fraction), the content of bicyclic aromatic hydrocarbons is 0% (mass fraction) ~ 20% (mass fraction), and the content of tricyclic aromatic hydrocarbons is 0 % (mass fraction) ~ 6% (mass fraction), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon content is 0% (mass fraction) ~ 26% (mass fraction), total aromatic hydrocarbon content is 4% (mass fraction) ~ 65% (mass fraction) Determination of diesel fuel and its blending components.
