- Scope
- This standard specifies the conditions and detailed analysis steps for determining the fiber content of textiles using physical analysis methods (including microscopic measurement and manual splitting measurement). This standard is applicable to the quantitative analysis of fiber content of blended, mixed and interwoven textile products and loose fiber raw materials that can be separated manually or where chemical analysis methods are not suitable. It is not applicable to special animal fiber blended products.
