Scope
This part of GB/T 21487 gives details on how to obtain reproducible measurement results, so as to monitor and evaluate the vibration of the rotating shaft according to the GB/T 11348 series of standards. Therefore, it is mainly related to the shaft vibration measurement of large machines (eg: steam turbine generator set, gas turbine set, industrial steam turbine set, water turbine set). This part of GB/T 21487 applies to absolute and relative detection systems for radial vibration of rotating shafts. It includes detection devices (ie sensors), signal conditioners, connection methods and calibration procedures.
