Scope: This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation and storage of marine electric twin-screw pumps (hereinafter referred to as pumps). This standard is applicable to all kinds of twin-screw spiral lines used on ships such as lubricating oil pumps, fuel pumps, boiler fuel injection pumps, cargo oil pumps, water supply pumps, fire pumps, drainage pumps, ballast pumps, sanitary pumps and chemical pumps.
