Scope

This standard measures the roundness in both directions and the average radius deviation in both directions when the two linear motion axes of a numerically controlled machine tool are simultaneously controlled and circularly moved. The accuracy test methods and general rules for roundness and radius deviation are specified. The measuring instruments used in the standard are in accordance with 6.63 of JIS B 6191.
