- This standard specifies the determination method for the solubility of petroleum asphalt. This standard is applicable to the determination of the solubility of petroleum asphalt in trichlorethylene, not applicable to the determination of the solubility of modified asphalt. This standard does not involve safety regulations related to use, and the user of the standard is responsible for formulating appropriate safety regulations before use.
