Scope: This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation and storage of marine electric single screw pumps (hereinafter referred to as pumps). This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of pumps for transporting oily sewage and oil residues in engine rooms and other media containing impurities.
