- This standard specifies the strength calculation method, structure and material requirements and allowable stress of materials for pressure components of water tube boilers; it provides a verification method for determining the maximum allowable calculation pressure of components. This standard applies to the pressure components of fixed water tube steam boilers and fixed water tube hot water boilers with a rated pressure not less than O.10 MPa, including boiler shells, header shells, pipes, pipes within the Convex heads, flat end caps and covers and shaped elements.
