- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, forms and basic parameters, requirements, inspection methods, signs and packaging of vernier, belt watch and digital display universal angle ruler (hereinafter referred to as "universal angle ruler"). This standard applies to vernier universal angle rulers with division values of 2' and 5' and measuring ranges of 0°～320° and 0°～360°; division values of 2' and 5' and measuring ranges of 0°～ 360° universal angle ruler with watch; digital display universal angle ruler with a resolution of 30" and a measuring range of 0° to 360°.
