It agrees with the CEI 02-59 standard of the European Committee of Associations of Paint and Printing Ink Manufacturers. By fastness of an ink to light we mean the fastness of a sample print examined according to the criterion of UNI 5773, and prepared according to UNI 5772. By fastness of prints to light we mean their fastness to daylight without direct influence of bad weather. The sample is exposed to daylight under the prescribed conditions together with the sample lightfastness scale. The solidity is evaluated by comparing it to the shade of the scale which has undergone a degradation similar to that of the sample under examination. Blue tint scale. Grayscale. Method.
