This standard establishes the minimum values of detachment resistance between the various components of conveyor belts and the corresponding test method. It applies to all conveyor belts with the exception of those with textile reinforcement which have a breaking strength lower than 157 N/mm (160 kgf/cm)1) and those with reinforcement made up of steel strands.
