This standard aims to give guidelines for proceeding according to the best methods for the design and installation of sheet glass in building constructions (glazing). Given the complexity of the problem which is influenced by the increasing size of the frames to be glazed, the increased needs for comfort in the rooms and the great technological variety of the materials all needed for glazing, it is recommended to consult an expert glazier during the design phase.
