This standard concerns hot-rolled sheets and strips of special construction steel with a thickness equal to or greater than 3 mm normally used in highly stressed welded constructions such as bridges, devices subjected to pressure, fixed or mobile containers even at different temperatures from that environment. 2 This standard does not apply to finished flat steel products which have undergone a hardening and tempering (hardening) treatment.
