Scope

This standard concerns the general criteria for the design, manufacturing and testing of shut-off, regulation and check valves, intended to be installed in primary circuits of water-cooled nuclear reactors. This standard is, in any case, supplementary and never replaces the provisions in force for the safety and health protection of nuclear plants.
