The printed side of a print is placed in contact with the chosen spice for a certain time, placing a filter paper between the spices and the print. The fastness is judged by the alterations of the print, the variation in color, its resistance to rubbing, and the color taken from the filter paper. Equipment and reagents. Procedure and evaluation.
