Scope

This standard specifies the dimensions, tolerances and materials currently used for welding bends, 3D and 5D types (45, 90 and 180°), manufactured by hot forming, on mandrel, from tubes, without quality requirements , of steel, seamless or welded, for use in pipes. Note — Bends manufactured from flat products will be subject to other standards.
