Scope
It establishes the dimensional and shape tolerances and the related determinations of glass fiber panels for thermal and acoustic insulation. The products considered must not contain elements that have characteristics different from the constituent material (glass fibres) such as, for example, non-fibred glass, foreign bodies, etc., with the exception of any materials used as supports or coverings. The panels must be cut at right angles and the perpendicularity tolerance for the four corners is plus or minus 3 mm per 500 mm length. The tolerance on length is plus or minus 10 mm. The width tolerance is plus or minus 5 mm. The tolerance between the average of the measurements taken and the nominal thickness must be plus or minus 3 mm. For each single measurement, the tolerance is more or coating is included in the measurement. Determination of: perpendicularity, length and width, thickness. Proceedings.
