It agrees with the CEI 01-59 standard of the European Committee of Associations of Paint and Printing Ink Manufacturers. A sample print means a print made according to this standard. As regards printing inks, it distinguishes: inks for typography, offset and lithography; rotogravure inks; all other inks other than those indicated above. All test methods intended for evaluating the fastness of printing inks must be applied on a sample print, carried out according to this standard, unless otherwise explicitly indicated in the text of particular standards.
