This standard applies to tinplate annealed in a discontinuous (static) or continuous oven in sheets with a thickness of up to 0.49 mm and whose size is not greater than 965 mm 2 The tinplate referred to in this standard can also be supplied with a thickness greater than that specified in point 1.1, subject to prior agreement when ordering. 3 This standard does not apply to products obtained by double reduction. 4 For cold rolled tinplate in rolls, see UNI 7644.
