Scope

This standard defines the procedures for carrying out MIG1' welding tests and the test methods for determining the tensile characteristics on test pieces of all filler material obtained from aluminum wires and aluminum alloys. To this end, it specifies the methods of preparation and execution of the tests and the methods of the tensile test. For wire supply requirements, see UNI 7817.
