This standard concerns the method for determining the crushing resistance of light aggregate granules; this test is particularly suitable for routine checks. The data obtained from the test in fact allow a rapid characterization of the lightweight aggregate from the point of view of its resistance to mechanical stress and allow rough predictions to be made regarding its behavior in concrete.
