UNI 997-1000-1939 Testing the dyeing properties of the dyestuffs used to dye vegetable textile fibres and artificial cellulose fibres excluding acetate rayon
The procedure for researching the nature of the coloring matter used in dyeing serves to distinguish whether the coloring matter used is acid, basic, substantive, sulphur-based, mordant-based, vat-based or insoluble azo-based, through the use of one of the six reactions indicated in the table. The procedure applies to single and non-mixed fibres, and is valid for material dyed according to normal dyeing rules and washed after dyeing. The material subjected to analysis must be previously freed from sizing substances. Reagents. Reactions.
