Scope

This standard has as its object the description of the photometric determination method of aluminum with chromazurol S. 2 The method is applicable to the determination of aluminum contents between 0.01 and 0.20% in magnesium and in some magnesium alloys . 3 This method is not applicable to magnesium alloys containing zirconium and/or rare earths and/or thorium.
