This unification indicates the! procedure for determining the printability index of thermosetting plastic materials using a mold of established shape and applying certain pressures and temperatures. The test consists in determining the fluidity of the plastic material during molding and also serves to indicate the duration of flow, as a function of pressure and temperature, in the test mould. This method can be used to establish whether successive supplies of the same type of thermosetting plastic material, or supplies coming from different sources, always of the same type, have the same printability characteristics, but it cannot be used to determine with certainty whether different types of Thermosetting plastic materials have the same moldability index.
