This standard considers simplified representations of sanitary appliances for use on building plans and for healthcare equipment diagrams represented at a scale of 1:50. The representations of this standard can be simplified more for drawings on a scale of 1:100 and may show more details for drawings at a scale of 1:20. If the purpose of the drawing requires more specification, the representations of this standard may be combined with the designations of the equipment, indicated either in the drawing or in the parts list.
