Scope

1 General case The method is applicable to the determination of silicon contents greater than or equal to 0.30%, in the absence of tin and/or antimony as alloying agents. 2 Special cases 2.1 . Aluminium-silicon alloys with silicon contents greater than 3% and aluminium-magnesium alloys (method which can be used as an alternative to the general method). 2.2. Aluminum alloys containing tin and/or antimony.
