The mineral is disintegrated with sodium peroxide, the cooled melt is dissolved in hydrochloric acid, the silica is insolubilised by double dry evaporation of the hydrochloric solution of the melt and finally the silica is filtered, calcined and determined by evaporation with acid hydrofluoric.
