UNI 3618-1955 Procedures for chemical analysis of minerals. Determination of arsenic in iron ore. Method for reduction with stannous chloride and titration with iodine.
The hydrochloric solution of the sample is treated with sanoc chloride solution to reduce the arsenic to its elemental state; the separated arsenic is dosed volumetrically with iodine solution, the excess of which is titrated with the corresponding solution of sodium arsenite.
