Scope

The silicon is separated from the nitrosulfuric solution of the ferroalloy or manganese metal by white fume evaporation and finally volatilized with hydrofluoric acid in the presence of sulfuric acid. Reagent: nitrosulfuric mixture. Method. Calculation.
