1.1. Prezentul standard stabile?te condi?iile tehnice de calitate ale ?es?turii de bumbac, bumbac ?n amestec cu celofibr? sau celofibi?, denumit? tifon ?i destinat? ?n principal scopurilor medicale ?i industriale sau uzului casnic.
1.2. Dup? masa pe metru p?trat ?i compozi?ia fibroas?, tifonul se fabric? ?n urm?toarele tipuri :
— tip B 51, cu masa de 51 g/m2, din bumbac 100%;
— tip BC 50, cu masa de 50 g/m2, din bumbac ?n amestec cu 33 % celofibr?;
— tip C 51, cu masa de 51 g/m2, din celofibr? 100%.
