This part of SS 11 describes a method for the determination of unsaponifiable matter in fats.
The method described is suitable for the determination of unsaponifiable matter present in fats of marine animals, in animal fats other than those containing a high proportion of wax esters such as wool fat, and in vegetable fats except for fats such as shea nut oil.
