Scope

This standard covers the tensile testing of aluminium and aluminium-steel reinforced stranded conductors for over-head lines. At the test the strain of the conductor is measured as a function of the force at repeated loading. The breaking force of the conductor is determined as well. Regarding quantities and units, Swedish standards mentio-ned under clause 2 shall apply.
