Scope

This Pakistan Standard prescribes a method for deter mining the breaking load (tensile strenght) and elongation of woven cotton fabrics by means of an automatically controlled machine in which the applied load is increased at a predeter mined steady rate. The maximum load attained and the corresponding extension are recorded or observed.
