1.1 This Pakistan Standards prescribes the method for re moving common types of added matter from the textile material on which they are customerily found at present. Identification of fibres or blend of fibres and the added matter which should be carried out before these methods are employed, are not covered in this standard.
For the purpose of this standard "added matter" comprises processing aid such as lubricants and sizes (excluding jute batching oils) dyes and finishes, whether applied as a sruface coating or formed within the fibres.
