Scope

This "NORM describes a method for the determination of potassium and sodium using flame atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS). It is suitable for drinking water and raw water. The method can be used with both potassium and sodium in the concentration range from 5 mg/1 to 50 mg/1. The scope of application can be extended in both directions by choosing sample volumes other than those specified in Section 7.
