This standard specifies the characteris ics of the electrical energy supplied to the terminals of loads on board aircraft. In addition, it specifies the on-board electrical systems and the compatibility requirements for consumers as well as the special on-board electrical systems with regulated and unregulated frequencies. This standard applies to alternating current and direct current on-board electrical systems for on-board or ground operation.
