1.1.1 This standard sets down methods for determining the total thermal resistance, of parts of buildings in steady-state environmental conditions and is approved as a means of compliance with the relevant requirements of NZS 1900*.
1.1.2 The three methods included in this standard are:
(a) Laboratory measurement (see section 3);
(b) Site measurement (see section 4);
(c) Calculation (see section 5).
