This standard specifies a method for the electrolytic determination of copper in aluminum alloys. The method is applicable to products with a copper content greater than or equal to 0.50%. The method is not fully applicable to the following special cases for which modifications are necessary, as indicated in Annex A or Annex B: a) Alloys containing tin or antimony (see Annex A ) ; b) Alloys containing bis uth (see Annex B).
