1.1This standard covers the characteristics for assigning the grade and length of sheared wool: greasy, clean, washed or carded. 1.2 The characteristics do not apply to mixed lots, that is, lots of wool that are made up of units of different grades and which are to be divided into smaller homogeneous lots before use. 1.3The characteristics are applicable to each small homogeneous lot for which sampling and testing are done separately.
