Scope
This standard describes a method for determining the crude fiber content of the products mentioned below (see also 11.1 and 11.2). a. unmilled wheat, rye, oats, barley, rice and buckwheat; b. milling products of wheat, rye, oats, barley, corn, rice, buckwheat and legumes; c. bran and bran gravel; d. products processed into flakes, such as oatmeal, barley malt, rye malt and mixed malt; e. flour and legumes, silage, grass, clover and alfalfa meal and most other simple products not mentioned with less than 25% crude fiber (not applicable for products with high hemicellulose contents such as palm kernel meal); f. compound feed with less than 4% Ca.
